Aisho Miura Arts is pleased to present the new exhibition　“Hallucinations” by Kazuma Koike.
Koike born in Kanagawa(1980),lived in Buenos Aires from 1986-1992, Barcelona from 1995-1998. Came back to Japan and graduated from sculpture department in Nihon University College of Art.　

Koike has been representing unique sensibility with meticulous continuing spots painting, sculpture and video works. In this exhibition, we will represent Koike’s huge work of earlier watercolor paintings and new works

The every motif used in paintings in this exhibition is things Koike has actually seen. Koike finds a new aspect of things in daily life and make them emerge intriguingly in the work.

There will be an opening reception with the artist in attendance on 18th May（Fri）18:00.



この度、アイショウミウラアーツでは小池一馬の個展"Hallucinations"を開催致します。

小池一馬は1980年生神奈川に生まれ、86年から92年までの間はアルゼンチンのブエノスアイレス、95年から98年はスペインのバルセロナで過ごし、帰国後は日本大学藝術学部の彫刻コースを卒業し、現在制作活動を続けています。

小池は、細かな粒の連続で描くペインティングや立体作品、映像作品など、近年様々な素材を利用しながら、特異な感性を発表してまいりました。この度の展覧会では、水彩を用いた過去の大作と新作を発表致します。

本展で発表される作品に出てくるモチーフは、すべて作家が目にしてきたものです。小池の表現は日常にあるモノの新しい一面を見つけ出し、魅惑的に浮き立たせます。

5月18日にはオープニングレセプションを開催致します。この機会に是非ご高覧ください。
